Gather:
- Blue construction paper
- Paper towel
- Tissue
- Glue
- Markers
- Black foam or construction paper
- Cotton
- White chalk or crayon
Prepare: Cut out the snowman template out of the paper towel.
Teach:
- Glue down the bottom of the snowman to the blue paper.
- Stuff tissue inside the paper towel and glue it down as you go. (Younger students might need an extra hand keeping the tissue inside the paper towel.)
- Cut out a top hat out of black foam or construction paper. Glue it at the top of the snowman.
- Use markers to add the face, buttons, arms, broom, etc.
- Stretch out some cotton balls and glue them at the bottom of the blue paper to create snow.
- Draw snowflakes with white chalk or crayon.
