I am purchasing items from Mr. Mark’s Classroom for my church. How do I purchase these items without tax?
Add the items that you would like to purchase to your Cart. When you have finished shopping, click on “Proceed to the Checkout page.” On the Checkout page, there is a tax-exempt option on the right. After clicking in the tax exempt checkbox, you will be prompted to enter your tax-exempt number. After a valid-number is entered the tax should be removed from your order.

Our church is in the process of developing our own security policies. Do you have a sample we could use or look at to get started?
Look under our “Resources” tab to find a draft of a policy I helped write with First Baptist Church, Blanchard, OK. That children’s committee was terrific to work with and I think it is detailed, but short. It is a Word Document so you can download it and edit it. It is a great place to start with something on the page even if you change everything, it will give you something to discuss. Check with your insurance to see if they have any requirements you need to add. When your policy is completed, seek a person with legal expertise for an opinion. Your church then needs to approve it as policy.
