Hey Hey Friends,

First Grade Bible Presentation is such a milestone on a child’s spiritual journey, which my church refers to as “The Legacy Path.”   I provide Bibles for parents to write in a note for their child. Since the kiddos are now early readers, this is to express the value and purpose of reading God’s word daily.  We want parents to be equipped to pass along their faith, and the value of reading God’s word is huge for their child.
Our moment in the worship service for the First Grade Bible Presentation follows a  script, which consists of parents repeating after me as they present the Bible to their child. Next, the children repeat after me and accepts the Bible.  It’s very special!!
If you’re interested in this script and other free resources, you can find these on the “Children” Section of our Resources Page here!  In addition, the video below will show you the packets I provide to parents including the Bible that we choose to get children at the first grade age. Do you have a Bible presentation at your church? I hope this is helpful in your ministry!

I bought these on Amazon, so that I could order enough for all of the kids. I lucked out because they are having a huge sale right now. Click here to check them out!

Make an Envelope Church with me!

This is such a fun craft! The children get to create their “family” out of popsicle sticks, and they are able to remove them from the envelope and continue playing with them to act out the Bible story or practice their Bible verse. I hope you try it! Check out the video below, and I will walk you through the entire craft!

Supplies Needed:

  • Blue construction paper
  • Envelopes
  • Jumbo craft sticks
  • Glue stick
  • Markers

Instructions:

  • Glue an envelope, with the flap open, onto a piece of light blue construction paper.
  • Draw a cross at the top of the church and add a door.
  • Use markers to decorate 3-5 people for your church. (You could use the number of  people in a child’s family.)
  • Tuck the stick people into the envelope “church”.
  • Add the verse “Let us go to the house of the Lord!”  (Psalm 122:1) to the top of the page.
