Decorate for Valentine’s in Seconds

See the FREE Valentine’s Download Below!

I am thrilled to introduce these wonderful Valentine’s decorations! We have had Valentine’s events over the years like date night dinner for parents with childcare provided, purity conferences, and we have even had a Valentine’s “festival” some years. I have struggled to decorate for Valentine’s countless times, so I decided to make an easy solution!

Please use coupon code LOVE25V for free ground shipping on Valentine’s orders! In addition, feel free to contact us to pick up your order in OKC, OK if you prefer

In addition to Props and Scene Setters, we have a Valentine’s Signs, Shirts, Sweatshirts, Stickers, and Doodle Art! Take a look:

Make a Giant Snowflake with me!

I made these with my kindergarten class, and they LOVED it! They also enjoy seeing their snowflakes hanging in the classroom to see when they come to Sunday school. Try it out!
Gather:
– 9 Paper Bags for every child
– Glue Sticks
– Scissors

Create: Ask the children to lie the paper bag flat on the table with the bottom flap facing up. The bottom of the bag (the flap) will be closest to the child. Apply glue across the flap area horizontally, and then apply glue vertically down the entire bag. This makes what looks like an upside down “T.”Place the next bag on top of the first bag in the same direction. Repeat these steps until all of the bags have been glued together. Cut the stack of bags around the edges to create the snowflake design. Open the snowflake by opening each bag until you’ve created a circle. Paper clip the two bags on the end together to hold it together as a snowflake. Send these home or hang them up in the classroom to include everyone’s artwork.

Join me in the video below! I’ll show you exactly how to craft these giant snowflakes!

How Should I Decorate my VBS Classroom?

Giant posters are one of my favorite things in this world because it sets the scene for the room within seconds. The kiddos love the adventure of finding the fun classrooms that they will explore each day of VBS. The Scene Setters are a hit each year since they are so easy; we even created add-on props for each classroom for those of us who like to spruce it up even more!

This week, I’d like to show you the Music Room and the Bible Study Rooms! We have the Scene Setters and the Add-On Props displayed below along with the videos of exactly how I decorated each classroom. I hope you take a look… sometimes I get great ideas when I explore the ideas of others!

With every Scene Setter, you will receive a FREE download of cute letters that spell out the room name. We are excited to provide these for free to help you spice up your decorations even more!

I would love to take you on a tour of all of the wonderful nature options we have this year! Check out the product pages and the demonstration page to see what you might be requiring this year. I hope we can make decorating easy this year, and many years to come!

*We have found new/ better processes for t-shirts and apparel, so VBS apparel prices have now dropped to a lower price.

Incorporating Movement in Your Lessons

When we pray, God hears us. 1 John 5:14.  King David and the people praised and thanked God as the Ark of the Covenant was brought to the tabernacle in Jerusalem. We can praise and thank God too.

The kids got the chance to carry the Ark of the Covenant as we sang our verse for the week! I see children repeat our verses through the week when we sing the verse together. In addition, they seem to grasp the Bible lesson with more clarity when we can involve movement in the process of learning about the Bible. We had such a blast! Send us fun learning activities that you use with the kids- we always love to hear about your ministry!

Join us this March for the Ministry Expo In Tulsa, OK!

Happy New Year

Our team at Mr. Mark’s Classroom hopes you have had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! As we embark on a new year, I want you to join me in challenging ourselves in Children’s Ministry! Together, let’s get encouraged to champion children’s ministry. More children hear the Good News of Jesus Christ everyday, and you are a huge part of that harvest.
