Cut paper into 6-by-9-inch strips. Guide a child to fold his strip in half and in half again. When he unfolds the strip, he will have four sections (marked by the folds). Talk about the Bible stories from this unit. Encourage the child to draw pictures of one Bible story in the four sections. If he chooses, he can draw additional pictures in the four sections on the back of the strip. Slightly bend the paper on the folds and show the child how his accordion book will stand. Fold the book closed and carefully turn the pages as the child tells you the story.
