Light Switch Add-On

Description

What to Expect:

This product is shipped to you in a tall narrow box with one 4’x8’ adhesive paper panel including:

– The Light Switch “Plate”

 Assembly:

Check out the demonstration page for assembly tutorials to easily adhere the giant sticker to a large foam insulation board and cut it out.

Set Up:

To make the switch, I used an empty Amazon box to fit the width of the hole, approximately 18x14x10 inches.  Wrap the box in white paper.  Next, cut and X halfway up on each side of the box at the back of the switch then push a dowel rod through the box for the switch to be able to toggle up and down (see pics).  Secure the dowel rod to back of the foam panel so it does not move.  If the box is not tight enough in the hole to not fall down when switched on, add a couple of Velcro dots to the top of the switch (box) and where it comes into contact with the switch hole to be sure the switch stays up and the lights stay on.
