What to Expect:

This product is shipped to you in a tall narrow box with one 4’x8’ adhesive paper panel including:

• Giant Sunglasses
• Two light bars

Set Up:

There are various optional set up methods to use with these props! We added lights and created a tunnel with ours. Check out the set-up page for video tutorials to walk you through, or see the information below:

• Adding lights were not difficult at all but it does make a bit of a mess.  I used C-7 incandescent lights because LED lights were not a warm light.  I tested the lights for heat safety and there was no problem with heat or scorching the paper.  After a full day of being on, I could still touch the bulb without it burning my fingers. Drill holes with a half inch paddle bit, use your finger to clear away any remaining pieces or debris.  When pushing a light in from the back you will notice it will be snug.  That is good.  Think first where you want the plug to be located so the strand is correct the first time.
• Create a Tunnel– You can watch the video of the assembly but all you need is nine 10 feet, half inch pipes of PVC Pipe from the home improvement store.  You also need the half inch fittings to assemble the tunnel: four elbows, four T fittings, and one cross fitting for the center top. Lay on the floor the three pipes across and add three pipes on each side of the center pipe as the ribs.  This will take up a lot of space. Put the elbow fittings on each corner and insert the pipes. On the center pipe, add the T fittings on each end and insert the pipes.  Next, locate the middle of the center pipe and cut the pipe using a PVC Pipe cutter tool.  It will only take a few clicks.  Add the Cross Fitting and insert both ends of the center pipe.  Now, insert the middle rib pipes into the cross fitting.  Follow the rib pipes to the frame pipe on each side.  Cut the frame pipe and add the T fitting to insert all the pipe ends on each side.  Your frame should be complete.  Add black plastic sheeting 10 x 25 feet by opening the plastic sheeting and covering the frame just built.  Tape around the edges of the frame to secure the black plastic to the frame.  Finally, using four adults, gently push the sides of the frame together to lift the center pipe up and bow the pipes like a tunnel.  Use the open double doorway the slide the frame into and hold in place.  We used Gorilla Tape on the front to secure the tunnel to the floor, but sandbags will also work fine.  Fold in or cut any extra black plastic sheeting at the base on each side.  Add the Sunglasses on top and light bars to each side and use the leftover Christmas lights from the light bars to line the tunnel inside.  The Lava Lamps looked great on each side of the tunnel too (sold separately).
