This bundle can provide giant classroom decorations for Missions, Crafts, and Bible Study which are the main classrooms decorated for VBS. Ideas for use written in the description below. Consider a “Sign Flipping” contest with the crayons and pencils each day as you sing the theme song. I’m going to draw names for “Sign Flippers” each day. Should be lots of fun!
There are four large sticker panels 8’ x 4’ each. Stick each panel to a construction foam board (video demonstration) and simply cut out with a sharp utility knife (video demonstration). The Super-Size Art Bundle contains the following:
- Missions- Large paint palette, paint can, and brush handle. Choose four or five long vinyl tablecloths to open slightly and tape to the back of the handle. Tape the handle to the wall and arrange the colorful tablecloths in a swoosh all the way down to the table (see photos). Not included is the sign “The Beauty of Missions” or the upside-down paint can with paint (tablecloth) pouring out.
- Watercolor Paint Set- This huge set of paints is eight feet long and over three feet wide. There is a brush in the paint set and an extra brush to be used here or in missions. Mr. Mark cut out the letters to spell “CRAFTS” to attach to the paint colors. Consider hanging opened vinyl tablecloths in multiple colors draped down the focal wall. Attach the tablecloths to the metal ceiling grid using pellet magnets or Mavalus Tape. This will provide lots of color then add the Watercolor Paint Set to complete your focal wall. Supply tables with colorful tablecloths and examples of each craft can be on display too.
- Giant Crayons and Pencils make the other two panels. They are all eight feet long and perfect to add to the entrance of a classroom. Attach on both sides of the door or as awning posts with a foam board roof. Add streamers on the sides for fun too. Mr. Mark used two crayons on the stage set. These large items would be great in the Bible Study classroom for more wall decorations along with your easel and painted drip cloth. Write the Bible verse on the pencils or allow the line leader to carry the giant pencil as they travel to the next stop during VBS.
