This craft will probably appeal to the younger children, but you never know, sixth graders may surprise you!

Items needed:  construction paper, scissors, stapler

Cut 2” strips of paper for headband.  Wrap strips around child’s head to determine fit.  Staple the strips together.  Use more construction paper (9” x 12” works best) and cut long strips, but leave one end intact.  Staple the “hair” onto the headband.  Now everyone wear  their “hair” while you play a game: write words from the Bible story on index cards.  Place the index cards face down in a pile.  Take turns drawing a card (no peaking!) and placing it on your forehead with the word facing out.  You must ask clues of the other class members to figure out the word you are holding to your forehead.
