Okay- Many of you have heard me announce that I have a new children’s book coming out this fall. (Probably because I can’t stop talking about it.) It is a story about a day I was driving my sons to school and maybe over stated my love. It is a sweet story about a father’s love and he didn’t care if the entire world heard him. It is funny, of course.
I saw the layout on the computer at the printer’s office this week and imagined reading it to a class of kids or to my granddaughter sitting in my lap. It made me smile from ear to ear. 
But there is more…
In the picture above is the artist for the book. Christa Brewer and her husband Beau live in Fort Worth, Texas where he is a seminary student and she teaches art for the Fort Worth school district. They have applied for an international adoption and have been accepted to adopt a beautiful little boy. He will get to meet his new parents in just a couple of months.
Last October, my wife, Connie suggested I ask Christa to illustrate the book and all the proceeds (after printing) will go toward “The Brewer Family Project” to assist in this very expensive international adoption. After their son meets his parents and moves to a place called Texas, Christa and I want to continue this mission with other families adopting internationally. We sense God is planning to show His great love to so many children needing parents.
