VBS 2023 is going to be a blast!
These giant decorations will be available December 1
I’m so excited to introduce these new items for VBS. It is Large Scene Setters so your teachers can decorate quickly. I often hear people I am enlisting to work in VBS saying things like,
“I will teach, but I can not decorate the room. I do not have ideas or time to do that too.”
So, this prompted me to think. How can I have the idea ready for them so that all they have to do is hang a large scene setter poster and add the beach towels with sand pails? This should simplify the decorating process for everyone. We usually only decorate for the Bible Study room, Crafts room, Missions room and maybe a Music room. Snacks are incorporated into the mission video time, and rec can be outside so we do not need to decorate those rotation stops. The scene setters are for those classrooms. The Beach scene can serve the stage or the music room depending on your needs.
Not all churches have large classrooms so we have two sizes to choose from this year. The Small Scene Setter Bundle includes four panels- 5’x 7.5’ each. The Large Scene Setter Bundle includes four panels- 5’ x 12’ each.
Both Large and Small Scene Setter Bundle include the following:
- Stage scene is the coastline with a large rock.
- Coral Reef Crafts features a large underwater scene with very colorful coral and ocean life.
- Missions Bonfire scene provides a beautiful night sky with the water’s edge on the shore. The Large Scene Setter features a lighthouse.
- Bible Study room has a bright sandcastle filled with colors of summer on the beach.
Simply, unroll the posters and tape them to your focal wall so when you set up tables with craft supplies or beach scenes with lawn chairs, beach towels, ice chest, sand pails and even a bonfire for the missions room, you are finished. It is really that easy. Save the large posters for future themes or classroom decorations through the year. These are not stickers so consider using Mavalous Tape to be sure your posters stay secured to the wall all week.
I would love to see your pictures when it is all decorated so post them on Facebook- Mr. Mark’s Classroom and let us know how it all turns out. Have FUN!!
