Woodslice Snowman Ornament

GatherSupplies

• 3 Wood Slices (Slightly different in size from one another.)
• White, Black & Orange Acrylic Paint (Additional are optional.)
• Paint Brushes (Smaller for detail work.)
• Black Paint Pen/Sharpie (Optional)
• Hot Glue Gun & Glue
• Jute/ Twine/ Ribbon for Hanging Ornament–Fabric/ Ribbon Scarf (Optional) 

Instructions

1. Paint the 3 wood slices white, allow a few minutes to dry.The wood soaks up the paint quickly.
2. Attach a jute/ twine loop to the back of the top slice of the snowman for hanging as an ornament.
3. Put a generous dot of hot glue on the center bottom rim of the top slice, to connect it to the center top rim of the middle slice. Repeat the hot glue between the middle and the bottom slice.The top slice should be the smallest, the bottom slice the biggest.
4. Using the orange and black paint, you can now paint the eyes, the nose, and any other details you want to add. Additional colored paint can be used how ever you can dream up to decorate your snowman!
5. Paint pen/ sharpie can be used to write a word, name, year, etc. on the bottom slice if that’s easier than painting details.

*Idea: could be created to be a magnet instead of an ornament, or attached to a frame
