Help your kiddo create a fun art project for their dad this Father’s Day.  I think the boys will like this more than the usual poster board necktie project.

What’s Needed:

  • Cheap white paper plate
  • Markers
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Craft Pom-Poms
  • Wiggle Eyes
  • Hot glue or glue dots
  • Scissors

Instructions:

Cut the inside of the plate only half way around and fold over the outer ring to create the body of the spaceship.  Ask children to color the plates and decorate as they desire.  Write the words: Dad, You are out of this world!  Next, create a fun alien by bending two pipe cleaners to make the antennas, body, arms, legs and feet.  Glue the two pom-poms on the body frame as the head and belly.  Add the eyes and place in the pocket of the spaceship.
