Pumpkin Pie Slice 

Invite the children to create a slice of pumpkin pie with squares of paper.  They can write things and names of people for whom they are thankful.

 Gather: 

• Paper Plates 
• Orange construction paper 
• Tan construction paper 
• Cotton balls 
• Glue 
• Scissors 

Instructions: 

1. Cut plates into fourths. 
2. Cut paper into squares. 
3. Write “thankful” things on squares. 
4. Glue the tan squares as crust. 
5. Glue the orange squares as pie filling. 
6. Glue on cotton balls as whipped topping. 

Optional: Take pictures of the children pretending to bite into their pies.
