Objective: Create a table piece to remind the family of God’s words to Mary and Joseph through His angels.
Use a 24oz or larger water bottle for the body. Provide pre-printed strips with Bible verse phrases of the angels’ words to Joseph and Mary. Allow kids to choose a strip and tape it to their angel’s body. As they work, ask “Who did the angel say this to?” Tape strips all around the angel to create its flowing robe. From a single paper plate, cut arms and wings. Tape these on the angel’s back. Finally, cut the face and hands from skin tones of cardstock paper. Draw a face and tape in place along with hands. Drape a ribbon over the angel’s shoulders. Fringe wings if desired.
