I sometimes worry that I say, “Be prepared.” too much. The truth is, I know what it feels like to walk into a room unprepared and try to “wing-it.” You think you know the Bible story and you probably do, but you don’t have your act together and the kids can sniff it out pretty fast. They are smart at detecting an impostor.
I know how great it feels when I’ve prepared ahead and gathered the items needed, and have my classroom set up for a great time. I truly anticipate the fun we will have together and the joy I get from teaching the Bible.
So, be prepared. I hope this video helps with organizing your preparation before class. You have been given a wonderful gift of teaching children. Use it wisely!
