This Bible game can be used to help children discover verses that include the word Bible in the Old Testament and the New Testament. Preschoolers who are learning to read will notice the missing word in each verse—Bible. Teachers can read the Bible verses and pause for the child to say the word Bible.
Paper plates are easy to remove to see the “hidden” Bible verses.

- Command Hooks® to hang the mat on the wall—four holes are provided on one side of the mat; the mat can also be placed on the floor.
- 5 pages for word B I B L E, one letter on each page
- 15 pages for Bible verses (See list printed below.)

3. Arrange the Bible verse pages in the pockets for rows two, three, and four. Cover the pages with black paper plates. (See illustration.)
Teaching Tips:
- Guide a child to remove a plate to see a Bible verse. Read the words, pausing for the child to say the word Bible. Continue reading the other Bible verses.
- Count the number of times the word Bible is on the game mat.
