Provide damp sponges, spray bottles of water, dust cloths, small booms, dust pans, small mops, and other cleaning items you may have on hand. Remind the children that we need to help keep our church clean and safe for others. Invite children to help clean the room. If you have a chance, take the children outside and encourage them to “clean the playground” by picking up trash, wiping the equipment, and sweeping the sidewalk. As they clean, teachers need to work alongside the children helping as possible. Remember to relate the Bible story and verse as appropriate.
