Gather: 

  • Sandpaper 
  • Crayons 
  • 12-by-18-inch construction paper 
  • Double-stick tape  

Prepare: 

  1. Cut several leaf shapes from sandpaper.
  2. Use double-stick tape to attach the leaves to the table. 
  3. Print a verse or Bible thought along the bottom of the paper. 
  4. Place the paper over the leaves and rub with the crayons. Continue to move the paper around and rub with different colors of crayons until the whole sheet is covered. Overlapping colors is okay.
  5. Laminate for a more durable placemat.
