Lead your class to create a fun project for their dad this Father’s Day.  This is a quick project that will not eat up all your teaching time on Father’s Day.

What’s Needed:

  • Air Dry Clay (found at Walmart)
  • Small Aquarium gravel

Instructions:

Give each child a portion of the clay to form into a rock with a smooth top.  Show the kids how to form the letters “DAD ROCKS” on the top of the clay.  Be sure the rocks are pushed deep enough inside the clay that it will not fall out.

*Note- the clay does leave a powder coating on your hands when it dries so be prepared to protect clothing, and clean hands at the sink or with wet wipes.
