Invite your class to paint a red, white and blue fireworks show.  Discuss our freedom to attend church and worship God.  We can always celebrate America for our freedom.

What’s Needed:

  • Paint (red, white and blue)
  • Eight flexible straws
  • Tape
  • Paper plate
  • Blue construction paper to represent he night sky

Instructions:

Create the straw stamper by bundling eight straws together with tape.  Be sure the bend portion of the straws are open and on one end together.  Squirt a small amount of paint of each color on the paper plate. Make sure each color of paint is touching so when the child dips the stamper all three colors coat the straws at the same time.  Invite the child to stamp the paper to create the firework bursts.
