Provide dress up clothes that include a tie, dress shoes, and suit coat in a child’s size 10. Include a Bible, a hymnal, and church bulletins. Locate a medium size box that will served as a pulpit.
Invite children (boys and girls) to dress up and pretend to be the preacher or song leader for the day using the “pulpit” and other materials provided. Place a couple of rows of chairs or indicate spaces to sit on the floor with carpet squares or masking tape lines to serve as the “congregation”.
