Paint with Oil
Pour a small amount of vegetable oil in small bowls. Set the oil on a table with cotton swabs and squares of construction paper. Suggest a child dip a swab into the oil and paint with the oil on a square of paper. Talk about the Bible story as children paint.
Create a Bakery
Provide play dough, small loaf pans, mini muffin pans, cookie sheets, cookie cutters, or other bakery items. As children play with the materials, talk about the food that God provides. Thank God for the ways He gives families what they need.
Dress Up
Offer a variety of present-day clothes. As children play, talk about things that people need (food, water, clothes, housing, etc.). Say that God helps people have what they need. Thank God for what He gives.
