Searching for Substitute Teachers!  Yuck!

Searching for Subs on a holiday weekend will make you crazy!!!!  Here are some ideas to consider when planning for subs.

1. Visit adult classes and enlist people to be on the bench.
2. Create a rotation list of subs.
3. Holiday weekends- email the teachers and the bench for all available teachers.  Ask teachers to contact the available bench people to step in and let you know who is teaching and where.
4. Do a walk through standing training in the classroom to orient them to the classroom and resource room.  It’s a starting place and you can build on that.
