- Construction foam board
- Hot knife or Utility knife
- Spray foam insulation
- Spray paint (orange, green)
- Decide the size you wish to make
- Draw a semi-circle or arch with a flat base
- Sketch five stem lines radiating from the base to the arch like sun rays
- Draw parallel lines for each stem to make the thickness of the stems
- At the top of each stem, draw a block style letter “Y”
- Moving down the stem continue adding the “Y” shape as branches. Repeat on each stem
- Using a hot knife or utility knife carefully cut out the coral stems and base as one piece.
- Lay the coral on a flat surface and add spray insulation foam. Be aware this foam expands during the drying time
- Allow foam to completely dry (24 hours)
- Spray paint a bright orange and add small amounts of green paint to the base.
