Supplies Needed
- White card stock
- Washable ink pads
- Baby wipes
- Fine point sharpie
- Scissors
- School glue
- Clear glass gems
- Round magnets
Instructions
- Decide on a fingerprint design to make (heart, fish, snail, bee, or other design).
- Make your fingerprint by pressing your finger into the inkpad. Make sure you get a good amount of ink on your finger.
- Stamp your finger onto the card stock to make your desired design.
- If you feel like the ink is not dark enough, press your finger back into the ink pad and stamp over the design again.
- Let the ink dry for a few minutes so it does not smear.
- Use the baby wipes to clean your hands.
- Use the sharpie to complete the design once the ink is dry.
- Apply glue on the flat side of the glass gem and stick it over the fingerprint design so that the design is visible from the top.
- Allow the glue to dry so the paper does not move.
- Using a pair of scissors, trim the excess paper around the gem.
- Peel the sticker off the magnet and stick it behind the thump printed heart on the flat side of the glass gem. If you look from the front, the magnet should not be visible.
- Enjoy your new magnet!
